Ni’Cole Issue 14

Who would have known that one car ride with Aunt Marshalene at the age of three, would birth a star named Ni’Cole.  Ni’Cole’s first inspiration to music was Aaliyah. Watching how graceful and entertaining Aaliyah was, made Ni’Cole want to be an artist. As her love for music grew, so did her creativity. In the sixth grade, Ni’Cole started rapping and learning to play the keyboard from hearing. She even attempted the producing side in high school, but decided being an artist worked best for her.

At the age of 17, she dropped a freestyle to Lil Wayne’s  Let the Beat Build. Since then she has released two projects I Killed the Mixtape and Awaken. Ni’Cole has released singles such as P Stands For Power, Time, Bar For Bar and more. Ni’Cole describes her  style of music as original. She writes based on her emotions; she wants people to feel connected whether it means being a hype man or just someone to vent to. Regardless, she makes her words flow genuinely. Stay tuned as this artist from Columbus, Georgia keeps  reaching for the top.
